California Water Service Company (Cal Water) has provided service to Visalia residents since 1926, and offers several programs to assist customers in conserving water and saving water every day.

Cal Water’s Lawn-to-Garden Program offers a rebate of $3 per square foot of lawn removed. At least 50 percent of the grass removed must be converted to landscaping utilizing California-friendly, drought-tolerant plant material. Artificial/synthetic turf, lawn that is already dead, or grass previously removed do not qualify for the rebate. Cal Water customers are encouraged to click on Lawn-to-Garden for detailed information on this program and to apply.

Cal Water presently offers eligible customers rebates for the purchase and installation of the following water conserving items:

• High efficiency toilets and clothes washers for the home.
• Smart irrigation controllers and high efficiency sprinkler nozzles for the yard.

You may request a conservation kit, at no charge, which includes high-efficiency showerheads, faucet aerators, a garden hose nozzle, and more.

Cal Water also offers a Smart Landscape Tune-Up Program, where eligible customers, at no charge, receive the following services:

• An irrigation efficiency evaluation by an irrigation specialist hired by Cal Water.
• A Cal Water conservation team member will provide recommendations for irrigation improvements based on the evaluation.
• The customer may then choose what improvements may be installed by the Cal Water irrigation specialist.

In addition, Cal Water offers Commercial Rebate Programs, such as high-efficiency urinal and customized rebates, for non-residential customers.
