Reporting Park and Urban Foresty Maintenance Concerns 

The City of Visalia is happy to serve the community through its parks and trail system. Please help us keep our parks safe and report any maintenance concerns using the information below:

Hosting an Event in a Park

Amenities vary from park to park, and some locations allow for bounce houses or alcohol permits to be purchased to enhance the event. These permits can only be obtained with a paid reservation at areas that allow such amenities. Permits may be added up until noon one business day prior to the event, and reservation contracts must be presented at the time.

Park Reservations for Private Events 

Reservations can be made online or in person at the Anthony Community Center (345 N. Jacob Street) Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Fridays 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., excluding holidays. 
Reservations made in person for park arbors will be accepted until 4:45 p.m. on the third business day prior to the scheduled event.
Reservations made online must be made at least seven days in advance of the requested date.

Park Reservations for Special Events 

The City of Visalia Park system has a number of great locations to host your next special event. If you are interested in reserving park open/green space, athletic field/complex, or an arbor for a special event, the first step is to complete an application and submit a proposed site map. City staff can help guide you through the processes and give you a tour of park locations that might best fit your intended use.
