RFB 23-24-38 Park Picnic Tables Replacement Project                                          Deadline:  07/03/2024 @ 2pm                                                                                                        The City of Visalia is seeking bids to replace and install new picnic tables at Whitendale Park, Blain Park, and if funding allows, at Ruiz Park.  This project is supported, in whole or in part, by Federal Award Number SLFRP2005, awarded to the City of Visalia by the U.S. Dept of the Treasury.  Federal funds being utilized for this project are American Rescue Plan Act Funds (ARPA).  This is a public works project, subject of prevailing wages, registration with the DIR and other State and Federal Requirements as stated in the Bid Document and specifications.  For more information click here.

RFQ 23-24-59 Request for Qualification of Contractors to Bid on a Forthcoming Public Works Project:  City of Visalia Civic Center Project, Phase 2                                                          Deadline:  07/18/2024 @ 2pm                                                                                                      Notice is hereby given that the City of Visalia has determined that all prospective bidders on the City of Visalia Civic Center, Phase 2 project to be undertaken by the City must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a competitive bid proposal as part of a future Request for Bids (RFB).  In order to participate in the Request for Bid (RFB) phase of this Project Contractors must be deemed "prequalified" by the City. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements.

The Visalia Civic Center Project, Phase 2 consists of a City Council Chamber building, a Public Safety building, an Evidence Building, a Pavilion, and infrastructure. The project will be subject to Public Works Contract requirements, state/federal requirements, Department of Industrial Relations registration, prevailing wages, and other requirements.
