Administration Division

The Administration Division is led by Captain Dan Ford and consists of the Professional Standards Bureau and the Support Services Bureau.

Captain Dan Ford began his career with the Visalia Police Department as a Police Officer in 2005. During his employment, Dan has held assignments in Patrol, DUI Enforcement Team, Gang Suppression Unit, and the Violent Crimes Unit-where he also served as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. In 2016, Dan was promoted to the rank of Sergeant where he was assigned to the Patrol Division, Violent Crimes Unit, and the Professional Standards Bureau. In 2019, Dan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant where he was assigned as the Investigations Bureau Lieutenant and District 1 Commander.

Captain Ford holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a Master's Degree in Administrative Leadership. He is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) and Drucker School of Management.
