Park Planning Meeting This Saturday at 10 a.m.

3.19.25

Visalia, we need your ideas! What do you want to see in your next neighborhood park? Tell us by attending one of our upcoming community meetings as we begin planning for our next Neighborhood Park!

Join us this Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Park, 5743 W. Lisendra Dr., Visalia.

This community meeting is open to all ages, bring your ideas of what you'd like to see in Visalia's next neighborhood park!

To ensure that we have a streamlined process for the public to vote on park amenities, the Neighborhood Park Public Meeting Process Community Input guidelines have been established. These guidelines will be followed at each Neighborhood Park Public Meeting and can be found here.

Future Meetings

Our Neighborood Park #1 meeting series includes meetings where Parks & Recreation Department staff will share with the public details about the property, potential timelines and ask for your input on what you want to see.

Thursday, March 27, 2025
Location: Sunset Park, 5743 W Lisendra Dr, Visalia
Time: 5:30 p.m.

About the Park

This future park has no current name, choosing it's name will be part of the park planning process. It is currently titled Neighborhood Park #1, and will be located in Visalia between Walnut and Tulare Avenues, on Roeben Street, west of Akers Street. The land where the park will eventually be built is four acres.

This future park will be in an area currently known as the Elliott Property, and we need public input to find out what Visalians would like to see at this future park!
