Visalia PD Named Top Regional Fundraiser for Special Olympics

2.12.25
The Visalia Police Department was the top regional fundraiser for the 2024 Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run!
Partnering with local law enforcement agencies, VPD officers carry "The Flame of Hope" Torch on a route that includes downtown, ultimately delivering it to a partnering agency to continue the Torch's journey.
The run serves as a public awareness fundraiser for the Special Olympics, which provides free year-round programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Downtown Visalians and the Visalia Property Owners Association helps make the run possible, and is coordinated by Special Agent Cole Sinatra, Detective Kyle Kalendar, and Detective Danny Gonzalez.
Special thanks to go House of Juju, Downtown Visalians and Texas Roadhouse for their support in raising funds, making this recognition possible.
