Booze and boos, beware!

Today, Thursday, October 31, 2024, the Visalia Police Department is launching a Driving Under the Influence (DUI Saturation Patrol).

"The department emphasizes a zero-tolerance policy during this operation, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring public safety," shared Liz Jones, Public Safety Police and Fire Public Information Officer. "Officers will be actively monitoring for impaired driving and taking necessary actions to keep our roads safe."

Spooky Safety Tips:

- Watch for tiny trick-or-treaters;

- Drive slow

- If you plan on indulging in spirits call a taxi or rideshare 

The Visalia Police Department reminds everyone to stay safe, stay sober. Let’s make this Halloween one to remember - without any “haunting” accidents!
