Visalia Senior Mobile Home Repair Program

The program is funded by the State Department of Housing and Community Development Grant Programs. Self-Help Enterprises contracts with the City to determine eligibility and to perform the repairs.

Some common home repairs include roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, insulation, foundation, windows, and handicap-accessible modifications.

Financing & Eligibility:

• Seniors or Permanently Disabled
• Mobile home/ manufactured unit must be located inside a Visalia mobile park Financial assistance is provided through 0% interest deferred payment loans Deferred payment loans require no monthly payments
• Loans are forgiven after three months
• Full documentation and verification of income is required
• Some required documentation: certificate of title, current registration or property tax bill, tax returns, proof of income, bank statements, utility bill, residency verification, hazard insurance
