Keep "the rockets red glare" to the professionals. All fireworks used in Visalia by community members should be marked Safe and Sane.
The Visalia Fire Department reminds residents that the use of illegal fireworks starts with a $2,000 fine for the first offense.

Drop Off Your Illegal Fireworks No Questions Asked
Visalia residents can legally dispose of illegal fireworks year-round, no questions asked.
Illegal fireworks can be turned in at any Visalia Fire Station. Drop-offs are accepted between the hours of 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., daily. The drop-off program is now open and will continue year-round as a service to Visalia residents.
