Logo Redesign Process Now Underway
6.18.24
The City of Visalia’s Brand Refresh rolls on, now with another opportunity for community input.
At the City Council meeting on Monday, June 17, the City Council voted to begin the process for a community driven logo redesign and directed City staff to open a submission window and begin the process to a new logo. The new logo will be the companion logo to our Legacy Logo, and both will be used by the City of Visalia.
Community members, artists, and all those with an eye for design are invited to submit their artwork for this new, second logo, as part of the City of Visalia Logo Redesign Process. Submissions are accepted now through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 5 p.m. PT.
Logos must be original artwork and should be of a design that elevates the City of Visalia brand. Submitted logos should retain the strong V present in the most recently presented “Breaking Through the V” logo and feature no more than five colors. A full set of guidelines
are available here.
Submissions will be accepted from Tuesday, June 18 through Tuesday, July 2 at 5 p.m. PT.
To submit via the City’s Logo Redesign Process online form, click here. The drop-off of digital and hard copy files will be accepted at the City of Visalia Administration Office at 220 N. Santa Fe St., Visalia.
Once the submission window is closed, the Redesign Process will include review of entries by the Brand Refresh Logo Design Committee before a selection of logos are presented to the public for comment. Once public feedback is received, the City Council will receive the results of the Committee and public feedback via agenda item at their regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Monday, August 5, 2024.
