Mayor Brett Taylor represents the City of Visalia and District 2.
Prior to serving on City Council, Mayor Taylor served on the Visalia planning commission for eight years. Other community involvement includes serving on the North Visalia Neighborhood Advisory Committee, Tulare County Youth Commission, Blue Ribbon Task Force, Sign Ordinance Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Housing Element TAC.
Mayor Taylor graduated from Redwood High School, College of the Sequoia and Fresno State with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business. Professionally, he works as the C.E.O. of the Tulare County Association of REALTORS® where he oversees the operations of two offices in Visalia and Porterville and serves the 1,400 real estate professionals who work in Tulare County. He is married to his wife Dolores and the couple has four children. In his free time, Mayor Taylor enjoys being up in the mountains, is active in his church and serves as a Board Member for the Visalia Chamber of Commerce.
