About the Project

Riggin Ave at Giddings St intersection will be modified to its ultimate limits as part of the Riggin Ave widening project from Mooney Blvd to Conyer St.  The project as a whole will widen Riggin Ave to a 4-lane divided roadway, incorporating a local frontage road, reconstructing curb returns to be ADA compliant, addressing storm drainage deficiency’s and restriping the roadway.   Below is the design of the protected intersection geometry at the Riggin Ave and Giddings Intersection.
