Congratulations to our 2024 Deck the Home Winners!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Visalia's Holiday Decorating Contest. Your creativity and enthusiasm have truly brightened our community, showcasing the incredible spirit of togetherness and holiday spirit.

There was a total of 37 submitted addresses and 11 awarded homes. Below are the winning houses and their awarded categories. Since we had so many amazing homes enter the contest, we also gave out several honorable mentions. Thank you again to those who participated!

Safety Note: Please remember that Deck the Home is family friendly fun and that those driving the route should follow all rules of the road, drive under the speed limit, and have a passenger or hands free device give you route directions! Juding Guidelines: Recognizing a dazzling display of holiday lighting, this category celebrates creativity, synchronization, and effective use of lights to brighten the season. Bonus points for unique color schemes, animations, or energy-efficient lighting!

Judging Guidelines: Celebrating originality and out-of-the-box thinking, this award is for displays that surprise and delight with unexpected elements, imaginative designs, or inventive use of materials and space.

Judging Guidelines: Recognizing homes where the holiday magic is homemade! This award celebrates displays featuring handcrafted elements, clever repurposing of materials, or other creative DIY touches that bring the holiday spirit to life.

Judging Guidelines: Awarded to displays that create the look and feel of Santa’s bustling workshop. This category celebrates vibrant, whimsical designs featuring elves, toys, and a magical North Pole ambiance that inspires the imagination.

Judging Guidelines: Visalian's voted for their favorite house.

The community casted 30,001 votes and the winning house below received 80% with 24,195 votes.

Please remember that Deck the Home is family friendly fun! Those driving the route should:

  • Follow all rules of the road
  • Drive under the speed limit
  • Slow down and use extra caution when driving through residential areas
  • Take time to look for children at intersections, medians and curbs
  • Stop for ALL children and pedestrians and allow them to cross in front of you
  • Minimize distractions and ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings
  • Have a passenger or hands free device give you route directions
