The City of Visalia recognizes the important roles that nonprofit agencies play in the ongoing effort to improve the quality of life in the City of Visalia.
To support these efforts, the City tasks the Citizens Advisory Committee with administering an annual competitive process for the Nonprofit Youth Grant Program Fund. This program creates a funding mechanism to assist nonprofit in providing programs and services to the youth of Visalia.
Focus of Funding
- Applicants must be a nonprofit operating in the City of Visalia.
- Funding for this grant is based on a competitive process. Only one application per agency will be accepted.
- Applications must be received no later than November 14, 2024, Noon, at 707 W. Acequia Ave., Visalia. Proposals may be submitted in PDF format and delivered via email by the deadline. Applications received after the deadline will not be reviewed.
- Nonprofit grant funding must benefit youth living or attending school in Visalia.
- Grants will range from a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $6,500.
- Grants will be funded for continuing programs, new programs, or scholarship programs.
Grant Application Workshops
There are two grant application workshops scheduled for Tuesday, October 15 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and October 16 from 12 - 1 p.m. Workshop attendance is voluntary, no reservations are necessary. The workshops will be held in the City Council Chambers, 707 W. Acequia Ave., in Visalia.

For 2024, all applications must be received no later than November 14, 2024, 12 p.m., at City Hall West, 707 W. Acequia Ave., Visalia.
